  I have been coming to Mel's now for almost 5 years. The food is very good but it is a place for me to visit with people and enjoy friendly service. They have become friends and been there for me in times when I needed friendship. The service is good, their food is made fresh every day. If it takes a litter longer for a hamburger it's because it is real hamburger not frozen patties, so set back, get a glass of really good tea, visit and wait a few minutes to be served a really good hamburger. You won't regret it.

  This place is cute with a 50s look to it and the food was good, I got the crispy chicken sandwich and I liked it, however, the waitress could have been warmer attitude but I did have a screaming kid who wouldn't listen. I would go there again, the food is very good. Word of advice to anyone posting, don't post anything that could hurt someones feelings. Your entitled to your own opinion but you don't know what they could be feeling that day. I know my kid was driving me nuts that day! Lol!
